The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants met personally to build hype for the upcoming bout.
Former two time unified boxing king Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive mismatch - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I plan to damage his features and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to genuinely try to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
In spite of such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British opponent Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters engaged in the traditional face-off, with their height and weight contrast on show, it highlighted just how improbable this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the match is truly happening.
